About Japanese Bon Odori Dance Video 2007 #2

japanese bon odori dance video 2007 traditional obon
This is the very metaphysical, moving and extremely uplifting Bon Odori dance music video sequel to the original Japanese Bon Odori Dance Video 2007 This short video actually features two dances: the first is an eerie and supernatural slow style chanting march which is very spiritual in sound and vision. Then suddenly it all jumps to life in an extremely exciting and wonderful Japanese dance performance climax! The 'BON ODORI' is believed to have started in the later years of the Muromachi period (1336-1573) simply as public entertainment. This kind of traditional group-oriented dance style is very interesting, very exciting and just absolutely amazing to see, especially when witnessed live.
